Privacy Policy
Effective May 31, 2026
Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how SnapStats collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you create an account or use the app. It applies to account features, profile settings, web advertising, and app usage connected to your account.
Publisher And Contact
SnapStats is operated by Rishabh Prabhu. For privacy, account, deletion, support, or legal requests, email snapstatssupport@gmail.com.
Information We Collect
We collect the information you provide when creating or managing an account, including username, Gmail address, password credentials handled by Supabase, email verification status, privacy-policy acceptance, account creation and update dates, and premium or normal account status.
Authentication And Passwords
Passwords are not stored directly by this app. Supabase provides authentication, stores password hashes, manages email verification, and handles sign-in sessions. We use Supabase to confirm that account email addresses are real and controlled by the user.
How We Use Information
We use account information to create and secure accounts, verify Gmail addresses, enforce one account per Gmail address, let users update profile details, manage premium status, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, and support user-specific features such as saved preferences, favorites, or premium functionality as those features are added.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We do not share Gmail addresses directly with advertisers. We share information with service providers that are necessary to operate the app, including Supabase for authentication and database storage. The web version may use Google AdSense to serve ads; Google may use cookies, device identifiers, IP address, browser information, page activity, and similar data to provide, measure, limit, and personalize ads depending on your settings and applicable law. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or to investigate abuse.
Third-Party Services
The app uses Supabase for account authentication and database storage. The app also uses available sports-data services to display NFL stats, scores, standings, teams, players, and news. The web version may use Google AdSense for advertising. These services may have their own privacy and security practices.
Google AdSense, Cookies, And Personalized Ads
The web version may use Google AdSense to serve ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this site or other sites. Google's advertising cookies allow Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site and other sites on the Internet. Users can opt out of personalized advertising at google.com/settings/ads and can learn more about advertising cookies at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
Other Advertising Vendors
If third-party ad vendors or ad networks other than Google are used, they may also use cookies, scripts, web beacons, device identifiers, browser information, page activity, and similar data to serve, limit, measure, and personalize ads. Users may visit aboutads.info to learn about choices for personalized advertising.
Consent And Regional Privacy Controls
Some regions require consent before personalized advertising cookies or similar technologies are used. Where required, the app should use Google's privacy and messaging tools or another compliant consent-management process before serving personalized ads. Users can also manage cookies in their browser settings.
User Choices And Control
You can update your username, Gmail address, and password from the Account screen. Email changes require verification of the new Gmail address. Premium status is controlled by the app owner and cannot be changed by users. You can delete your account from the Account screen. For access, correction, deletion, or other privacy requests, email snapstatssupport@gmail.com.
Retention
We keep account information while your account is active or as needed to provide the app, maintain security, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and enforce app rules. If an account is deleted, associated profile data should be deleted or de-identified unless retention is legally required.
Security
We use email verification, server-side validation, rate limits, request-size limits, suspicious-payload checks, and Supabase security controls to reduce abuse and protect accounts. No internet service can be guaranteed perfectly secure, so users should use a strong password and keep their Gmail account protected.
Children
The app is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact the app owner so the account can be reviewed and removed if appropriate.
State Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, including some US states, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, opt-out of certain sharing, or information about how personal information is used or shared. We do not sell personal information. To exercise privacy rights, email snapstatssupport@gmail.com.
Changes To This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the app changes. If changes are material, we will update the effective date and may ask users to accept the updated policy before continuing to use account features.
